We took a pre-holiday trip along the Garden Route to Cape Town, stopping in wine country to visit just a few of the numerous wine farms. The wine region is pretty incredible. The mountain "back drops" make for some gorgeous settings. Some of the estates are still family run and date back 300-400 yrs. Just this one region alone has well over 100 wineries! If you ever get a chance to try a bottle of South African red don't pass it up.

The Ernie Ells wine estate, for all of you golfers, notice the ball on the tee

How many bottles of wine on the wall?

Brett enjoyed the cellars

Brett thought it was great fun to pet a Cheetah....

.....Until the Cheetah turned towards him and licked his lips

Although, while competing in the WSK (Worlds Strongest Kid) competition, Brett struggled with the "Giant Anchor Drag" ......

.....he more than made up the points in the "One Arm Whale Scull lift!"

Never a good site when getting ready to scuba dive!
