Brett is healthy and rapidly transitioning from a toddler into a little boy. He is attending pre-school 4 days per week and recently started swim lessons on the 5th day. He is thoroughly enjoying both and is getting good reports from his teachers. His vocabulary is expanding exponentially, to include some Afrikaans words from school, Xhosa (Cossa) from our maid and gardener and even a few Spanish words thanks to Kimberly.
Colton is also healthy and doing very well. We call him our little Spider Monkey, due to his acclivity to climb up or on everything! If he can reach up and touch something, he can most likely find a way to climb on top of it. Once he has reached the summit of what ever he is climbing, he has no apparent fear of the height. We have found him 4 feet off the ground with a smile on his face! Were not sure if he is headed for a career as a gymnast, a rock climber or a cat burglar.
Although the automotive industry is still struggling, and GM along with it, my job is still going well. I enjoy what I am doing and feel like I am really making a difference to the bottom line for General Motors Africa. Several people have asked what vehicles my plant builds here. I have included a few pictures of our products, along with the vehicle Kimberly is driving.
Please remember, are home is always open for visitors. It is "only" a 12,000 mile trip and we are overdue for house guests. We really enjoyed the month we had with Kimberly's parents, even the 2 stowaways, Denny and Linda, they brought with them.

Kimberly always tells me she CAN NOT sleep in a vehicle when we travel. I guess she passed that on to Brett.
Smile boys for the camera!
Our (Port Elizabeth) recently completed 2010 Soccer World Cup venue. I took the picture from Pete the Pilot's 1947 Cessna 140.
For you soccer fans, here is Cape Town's 2010 World Cup venue. Still under construction in this photo.
Trying to stay in shape. Participating in a beach 5K run.
Below, Troy chasing Kimberly in the 5K run!
Don't tell him the mountain is only 2 meters high!
